Uganda

There are over 1.7 million orphans in Uganda. Happy Blankie has teamed up with Christian Life Ministries Orphanage in Uganda, Africa. Christian Life Ministries is working towards the goal of building 500 homes that accommodate 12 children per home. Each child is given parental love, discipline, education and health care. When construction is complete, the orphanage will be home to over 6,000 children. Please join in our mission to bring blankets to the children in Uganda.

Inner City Mission – Canton, Ohio

We are partnering with The Trinity Dream Center, an inner city outreach program that provides food, clothing and spiritual support to thousands of local families in Canton, Ohio. We want to inspire children to pursue their dreams despite their current hardships. Please join the mission to bring an extra smile to Canton, Ohio.

The Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo – Toledo, Ohio

The Pregnancy Center has served thousands of Toledo area women since 1984 and provides support for women dealing with the emotional challenges faced by pregnancy, miscarriage or abortion.

Let’s Make A Difference – Medina, Ohio

Happy Blankie founder, David Holdridge, is from Medina Ohio and has a passion to help the kids close to home. Happy Blankie is working with Michelle Powell of Lets’ Make A Difference, a program that helps underprivileged children in Medina County, aged pre-school to teen. LMAD offers after school tutoring, sports activities, and summer programs.

Ronald McDonald Houses around the world offer families a way to stay together, in proximity to their treatment hospitals, and be comfortable and cared for during their stay. Families are stronger when they are together, which helps in the healing process. With peace and love, the lives of these children will change and confidence and joy will be restored in their lives. Happy Blankie is working with a Church that impacts the lives of these children. This ministry provides love, food, emotional and spiritual support to these families. Please join in our mission to bring peace and happiness to a child in Thailand.

Levine Children’s Hospital, Charlotte, NC

Newly established in 2007, Levine Children’s Hospital leads the region in offering more than 30 specialized pediatric services including kidney, liver and heart transplants, blood and marrow transplants, cardiac and cancer care: neurosurgery, rehabilitation service; and the highest designated level of neonatal intensive care.

ESWS – Seoul Korea

In 1972 the Eastern Social Welfare Society was founded by Kim Duk Hwang who saw a need to care for the children of Korea that were left hopeless. Adoption became the center for the society but since then expanded into other areas of social care such as: childcare, elderly care, care of mentally and physically challenged and community service.

Celebrate the Military Child – Worldwide

Since September 11, 2001, more than two million service members have deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan and more than 900,00 children have experienced deployment. Currently, approximately 220,000 military children have at least one parent deployed. Celebrate the Military Child is a program of the SFC Jared C. Monti Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc., a 501©(3) nonprofit organization that exists to bring parties to children of service members in every branch of the United States Military and Reserves to honor the sacrifice that they make.
